Sebastien began his 14 year professional soccer career in his home country of France with the FC Lorient club in France’s Ligue 2. After experiencing life as a professional soccer player in France, Sébastien decided to take his chances in the United States, and pursue his dreams with the United Soccer League, known as the USL. His USL career began, when he signed with the Seattle Sounders in Seattle, Washington. Sébastien was the first player to sign with the Seattle Sounders as they transitioned in to the MLS from USL level.

Since his MLS beginnings in Seattle, Sebastien has since played for the Philadelphia Union, New York Redbulls, Vancouver Whitecaps, Colorado Rapids, and finally with DC United. On June 23rd 2018, Sébastien became the first member of the Philadelphia Union’s Ring Of Honor.

During Sébastien’s career, he has scored more than 100 goals, and racked up almost as many assists. He is one of 16 players in MLS history that belongs to the 50/50 Club – which consists of 50 Goals + 50 Assists. Sébastien was also able to become the leading goal scorer in the US Open Cup competition, leading with 16 total goals.

Before Sébastien professional career started, he grew up in Rennes, France. He played for 8 years with his former team club, the Stade Rennais. Though Sebastien found success later in his career, during his early developmental years, success didn’t come easily. He always found himself on the lower level teams in his age group, with many players stronger, faster, and more able. Sébastien’s constant work and dedication to the sport, as well as his work with a private coach, helped him reach his goals, and become a stand out player on all teams.

With his experience, and first-hand knowledge of what a personal coach can do to advance a player’s skillset, Sebastien is ready to help the new generations of players in and around the Philadelphia area take their mental and physical game to the next level.
